About Luxury Presence

Luxury Presence is the fastest-growing digital platform for real estate agents, teams, and brokerages. Award-winning real estate websites, modern marketing solutions, and an AI-powered mobile platform help agents attract more business, work more efficiently, and serve their clients better.

Since launching in 2016, Luxury Presence has been trusted by over 80,000 real estate professionals, including 31 of the nation’s 100 top-performing agents as published in the Wall Street Journal. Leading brokerages — including Compass, Coldwell Banker, and Sotheby’s International Realty — rely on Luxury Presence as a trusted business partner. Every year since 2020, Luxury Presence has ranked on BuiltIn’s Best Place to Work lists.

The Role

First and foremost, you’re a builder. You think in systems, you ship production code, and you care deeply about what actually makes it into the hands of users. You’re not waiting for a spec to land in your lap — you’re looking at the product, the design system, and the way the team works, and finding the leverage points that make everything better.

You’ll work alongside a design engineer already on the team and together you’ll own the bridge between design intent and shipped experience across the core product. This role is about multiplying — your work raises the quality bar for the entire design and engineering organisation.

This role reports into Design, not Engineering. That’s intentional. The person responsible for UI quality, interaction polish, and design system integrity should be embedded in the team that sets the craft bar — not downstream from it. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape what design engineering becomes at Luxury Presence as the function grows.

What You’ll Own
Design System — Figma & Code
Own the integrity of the design system across both surfaces: React components, tokens, and patterns in code; design system library sync in Figma. You’re comfortable making design decisions in Figma, especially at the system level.
UI Quality Across the Product
You’re the person who cares about the last 10%: transitions, micro-interactions, responsive behaviour, loading states, edge case UI, and accessibility. When something ships, you make sure it meets the bar.
Tooling & Ways of Working
Look at how design and engineering teams collaborate, prototype, and ship — then build tools and processes that make it better. Internal tooling, prototyping workflows, component documentation, dev environment improvements. If it makes the team faster or the product better, it’s in your scope.
Production-Ready Code
Ship production-ready code: components in the design system, UI improvements in the product, or internal tooling. The work you do is built to the standard of something that goes in front of users. You partner closely with product designers — but the collaboration model isn’t a handoff.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience
  • Strong command of React — you build components and design systems in code, not just prototype them
  • Comfortable in Figma and able to make design-level decisions, especially at the system level
  • Deep care for UI craft: motion, spacing, typography, interaction states, accessibility
  • Experience building and maintaining design systems across Figma and code in parallel
  • Ability to write production-quality frontend code — not just demos or prototypes
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working at the intersection of design and engineering teams
The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here
  • You find the leverage points that make systems and teams better — without being asked
  • You care about the last 10%: the micro-interaction, the edge case, the loading state that most people skip
  • You’re equally comfortable in a design review and a pull request review
  • You believe fast teams ship better products, and you actively reduce friction wherever you find it
  • You think like an owner — not waiting for a spec, but proactively identifying what needs to be done
