Product Sales at Stripe is a team of deep functional and technical specialists who lead and advise on deals for the most strategically important products in Stripe’s portfolio. The Payments Product Sales team drives revenue growth for products like Radar, Multiprocessor, and Local Payment Methods (LPMs).
This role is focused on Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) — one of the fastest-growing segments in consumer payments. You will be at the centre of driving BNPL adoption across Stripe’s existing and prospective customer base, working alongside product, engineering, marketing, and partner teams to build and execute a go-to-market strategy for these products.
As an Account Executive, Product — BNPL, you will use your sales and product expertise to drive growth of Buy Now Pay Later solutions at Stripe. You’ll lead in-depth product discussions with existing and prospective customers and collaborate cross-functionally to develop deep product knowledge and close strategic deals.
You are an adept salesperson comfortable engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of an organisation — including C-suite executives. You thrive in competitive environments and enjoy working on products that require real technical depth. You’re as comfortable working with clients as with internal stakeholders, and you’re excited to become a recognised expert in this space.
- Drive new business and revenue growth by selling BNPL solutions to a wide variety of businesses across industries
- Understand and clearly articulate the value propositions of Stripe’s BNPL products to key stakeholders — including technical teams and C-suite executives
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, guiding customers through the full sales process and ensuring successful implementation
- Serve as the internal and customer-facing expert on BNPLs, collaborating with Partners, Post-Sales, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to iterate and evolve the go-to-market strategy
- Synthesise and relay customer feedback and market findings to inform Stripe’s product roadmap
- Lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements with enterprise-level customers
- 8+ years of sales experience at a leading technology company, with a track record of top performance
- Proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners both internally and externally
- Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment
- Proven ability to be a self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
- Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple stakeholders
