As a PerformYard Customer Success Manager, you will work to build long-lasting relationships with customers founded on successful adoption and ongoing usage of the platform. You’ll interact with executives and professionals from a diverse customer base, helping clients achieve their goals for using PerformYard in their organisations.
You will partner with customer personnel to implement PerformYard — including supporting product configuration to meet customer-specific needs, providing consultative advice and best practices, and leading training sessions from one-on-one support through to large group virtual sessions. All to create a successful and happy customer.
- Create long-lasting satisfaction for professionals at all points of their customer lifecycle in order to retain their business and grow revenue
- Establish a trusted advisor relationship with each customer through the onboarding and training process to drive the long-term value of the product
- Respond to phone calls and emails to support adoption, usage, and expansion within the customer base
- Meet or exceed aggressive responsiveness and quality goals
- Manage a portfolio of accounts — tracking customer health, usage patterns, and risk signals proactively
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Support teams to advocate for customer needs and surface product improvement opportunities
- Lead virtual training sessions tailored to individual customer needs, from one-on-one onboarding to large group sessions
- Support product configuration to align PerformYard to each customer’s specific workflows and performance frameworks
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Account Support, or a related role — preferably in software or SaaS
- Empathy for the customer experience and a genuine desire to make customers successful
- Understanding or previous use of CRM, Customer Success, or Help software tools
- Ability to manage multiple open accounts, prioritise independently, and follow through on commitments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills — comfortable speaking with executives and end users alike
- Comfortable and excited to operate in a fast-paced, start-up environment where priorities can shift quickly
- A desire to do and achieve more — someone who raises their hand and takes ownership beyond their core remit
- Experience with performance management, HR tech, or people operations tools
- Background in training, implementation, or consultative customer-facing roles
